Glee Cady Advises Intellicue on Privacy and Security
Downingtown, PA – 12/15/2007
IntellicueTM has released that Glee Cady has agreed to act in an on-going capacity as Privacy and Security Advisor to the corporation. Glee will be providing guidance on proper data encryption techniques, and establishing data security and privacy policies throughout the company. She will aid Intellicue in adherence to the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standards in conjunction with the processing of consumer credit cards. In addition, under her recommendation, Intellicue is actively seeking endorsement by TRUSTe, an independent, non-profit organization whose mission is to build user’s trust and confidence in the Internet by promoting the use of fair information practices.
“The expertise that Glee brings to Intellicue will be a critical ingredient to the company’s success, and we know that our customers will appreciate her unwavering commitment to securing their data and privacy,” stated Intellicue Founder and CEO Mark Sarojak.
Glee, a writer and technologist who now works in security and privacy program management, was a private sector advisor to the Departments of State and Commerce at the OECD. Her deposition explaining how the Internet works is quoted in the Reno v. ACLU Supreme Court decision overturning the Communications Decency Act. She is the co-author of four books intended to help consumers manage their use of technology, one of which is on the reading list for the privacy professional certification course offered by the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
